Taste plate! Veggies & fruit cut up, crackers/pasta or rice, cold cut meat sliced up or shredded, block cheese cut up. You can add anything really, all in small serving size and then let them pick and choose over a couple hours throughout the lunch period. A great way to add in new foods.

My best toddler lunch idea is simply anything deconstructed: my kids don’t like say pasta sauce on pasta. So i put plain pasta on their plate and the pasta sauce in a little dish for them to dip pasta in: they eat it all. For lunch I put bread cut into squares, grated cheese, cucumber slices, ham slices etc separetly on their plates: they’re guaranteed to eat it all. Yet if I made them a sandwich it’d be flatly refused!! ????

My little ones favorite lunch is banana pancakes.
He’s 15 months and loves to be independent and feed himself.
Mashed banana and a little egg to bind them.
I usually serve them in little smiley faces, two small ones for eyes and a big smiling mouth one.
