Brosa Alessia Accent Chair Review

If you’re looking for a beautiful occasional chair for a room in your home, you’ll love this Brosa Alessia Accent Chair review.

We still have so much to do in the new house and on top of the list is decorating our two kids’ bedrooms!

Brosa Alessia Accent Chair
My son’s nursery!

My son, who is two, is about to move into a “big boy” bed – I’m so scared of that! Right now he’s in a cot and sleeping pretty well and I’m worried that he might start waking up more in the night. Or getting out of bed and not staying in his room.

His room is currently a white box – all white walls and no decoration on the walls. So I can see why he might not feel compelled to stay there. We have so many lovely ideas to make his room really special though and a place he wants to play and sleep in.

Sponsored by Brosa and contains affiliate links.

Mini loves stories and songs before bed and so one thing we have done is got a new chair for beside his cot. It’s the Brosa Alessia Accent Chair and it’s perfect for this! We got this one in Heron Grey.

The Brosa Alessia Accent Chair in Heron Grey

Review of Brosa Alessia Chair

It’s a lovely, petite chair that’s perfect for bedrooms and available in an array of colours. We chose Heron Grey as the pale grey is such a lovely neutral shade. It will be perfect for the decorations we have planned for the room too – more on that soon!

I love the quirky carved oak legs and the seat is super comfortable.

Where We Use it

Story time is one of my favourite parts of the day and this lovely chair has made it even more special. Mini’s speech is developing so well now and I know a lot of that is due to his love of listening to stories and singing songs.

I’m so excited to start making his room more fun but I’m also a bit sad that we’ll soon be packing down the cot for the very last time. We are not having any more babies and while I’m happy about that, it’s also a bit emotional too!

Do you have any tips on how to decorate a child’s bedroom?

I’ve teamed up with Brosa to offer one lucky reader the chance to grab a beautiful piece of furniture to decorate your home!

It’s this lovely Mia Console Table and I think it’s such a classic piece.

Brosa Mia Console Table

I would display this lovely wooden console table in our hallway and add photos of the kids on top of it. The Scandinavian design is so simple with clean, crisp lines. I think the shelf underneath would be a lovely place for a basket for extra storage like scarves or an umbrella too.

The measurements are W97 X D35 X H77 and you can find out more about it here.

    / 11:35 am

The Mykonos Outdoor Armchairs are top of my Christmas list,
The coldest of winters and harsh summer weather they’ll resist.
With great open weave for the fresh air to flow,
Making them the chairs that my three cats won’t go.
No creepy crawly could appear and give me a scare,
Any cobwebs or spiders easily hosed off the chair.
Finally chairs only for these farmer’s butts,
Stylish and sturdy, not wanting them is nuts.

Although there are many pieces I adore on the Brosa website, I really am inl ove with this console table and would make it top of my Christmas wish list. I’ve never had a hall table and having always wanted one I can picture this one perfectly complementing my entry way. With a pretty picture hanging above, a potted plant sitting on top and finally a place, on the bottom shelf, to put my bag when I get home, this table would complete my home!

  44. Lauren Young

  46. Winsome Leung
    / 8:41 pm

6 Espen Scoop Back Dining Chairs from the Brosa range to replace our worn, discoloured plastic chairs from a bygone era. They’d be the top of my list this Christmas. Did you know that sitting on hard chairs make people take a hard line in negotiations? That’s right. I read about it recently. Try negotiating eating Spaghetti Bolognese with visible onion pieces with a 7 year old. Or ferreting just five more peas into those resistant little mouths. It’s a hard slog! The remedy would have to be these ultra-luxurious soft comfortably padded chairs to smooth out our daily foodgotiations! Plus they’re easy to wipe down and keep clean in a darker fabric. Love the Atlantic blue.

  47. Margaret Pritchard
    / 4:50 pm

Parla large indigo cushions and spacecraft studio painting blue architecture cushions to compliment and balance our light slate coloured lounge suite. Ours Navy cushions have lost their poof and are looking a little flat. So look out for a more achievable revamp at our place …. because our bank balance is looking a little deflated to :-)
