Family Christmas Gift Guide 2015

Family Christmas Gift Guide 2015

With just over 6 weeks to go until Christmas (yay!) I thought it was about time I started to think about a Family Christmas Gift Guide.

I don’t know about you but as the years have gone by, I tend to buy for a much smaller group of people now.

The people I always buy for are my kids, Husband, Brother, Mum and Dad and these are some of the gifts I’ve been considering.  You might find this a good Christmas gift guide for ideas for your friends and relatives so take a look. Bear in mind prices are either AUS dollars or Sterling:

For Her

Sally Hansen Gel Polish Starter Kit $79.96

I’m a busy mum of two and I’ve just returned to work so I’m time poor (and then some) but I love having my nails done.  I just feel ‘complete’ with nice nails but honestly I don’t have the time to paint them every few days.  Gel nails have changed my life just a little bit because they last 2-3 weeks on me and they’re hard-wearing too so withhold a fortnight’s worth of baby baths, nappy changes and the rest!  I love Sally Hansen products and this kit contains a lovely Christmassy Wine colour – perfect for the festive season. Here’s my review.

Green People Limited Edition Hand Care Gift Collection £19.95

I adore this beautiful duo of hand creams and even better, purchasing them supports the Woodland Trust as includes a 50p donation.

The Hand Care Collection contains Ho Wood & Red Mandarin Hand Cream (50ml) and Lavender & Rose Geranium Hand Cream (50ml) and my mum will love these – as would I.

For Him

GAIA Skin Naturals Overnighter Set $17.95

As you know, we travel a lot both overseas and interstate so Mr M will love this set.  It comes in a waterproof zipbag and contains 50mL sized products of Face & Body Scrub, Shave Gel, Face & Body Wash and a Face Crème. It’s a perfect stocking filler and the kind of gift my Dad and brother would also love.

M&S Christmas Jumper £29.50

I love a Christmas jumper, LOVE one!  Mr M quite likes Christmas too and now he’s a Dad, isn’t a slightly embarrassing Christmas jumper a ‘must’?

For Toddlers

A Scooter!

We’re researching which one to get her but it needs to be lightweight and this one is a contender from iScoot or this one from Micro Scooters.  If you have any recommendations for a scooter suitable for a 2-3 year old, let me know!

For Babies

Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo

I love love love this jumperoo, Miss M had one when she was a baby and Mini is going to love it I know.

It’s the Rainforest Jumperoo (we also had the Rainforest Play Gym) and has a spinning seat surrounded by lots of fun toys to play with.  After you add batteries, when the baby bounces around, the lights and music are activated – so cute!  It also adjusts to 3 heights so grows with the baby as they get bigger.

For New Parents

I wanted to include some cute gifts ideas as I have some friends who are expecting their first baby!

Toffee Moon Blanket & Hat Gift Set £35

You already know how much I love Toffee Moon and Mini M has some beautiful clothes from their adorable range. I just love this gift set of a luxury pure cotton baby blanket and hat.

GAIA Skin Naturals Baby Starter Kit $22.95

This is a set that I’ve been using when we’ve traveled recently and I just love it.  It contains 5 x 50ml sized bottles that will fit into your changing or overnight bag.  The set features a ziplock bag filled with Bath and Body Wash, Baby Shampoo, Baby Moisturiser, Skin Soothing Lotion and Baby Massage Oil.  I do love the smell of a freshly washed bambino!
