Huggies Wipes Style on the Go Review
After a few rainy days, we made the most of the return of the sunshine yesterday with a family picnic at Nanny and Grandad’s house! They have a lovely garden and we picked a spot under a big pear tree.
Miss M insisted on bringing Teddy and Mr Bear – what picnic is complete without a couple of teddy bears anyway?
So off I headed to Waitrose (because we’re fancy like that) to stock up on picnicky treats and decided to go traditional with pork pies, strawberries, scotch eggs, cloudy lemonade and more – a very British picnic!
It was a wonderful opportunity to put our new Huggies Wipes Style on the Go pouch to the test too – did I mention how fancy we are?
Style on the Go are refill packs of Huggies Wipes, they’re easy to use and carry around when you’re out and about. They’re free from perfume, alcohol, parabens and phenoxyethanol, and, like all Huggies® wipes, are made with natural absorbent fibres for beautifully healthy skin.
Miss M dived in head first to the picnic food and what she didn’t eat, she at least licked. Is that some kind of weird toddler way of reserving food?!
I offered Grandad a pork pie who graciously accepted but jumped out of his skin when Miss M screamed at him “Stop eating MINE picnic Gwandad, it’s MINE!”. She doesn’t even like pork pies! “Naughty Gwandad!”, apparently!
Mini behaved himself well, despite not being able to indulge in any of the food – well, he’s only 3 months old.
It’s so nice to be able to eat outside sometimes and my parent’s garden is perfect as Miss M can run wild without getting into too much mischief. That was until she heard the kids playing next door and did this at a gap in the hedge for 10 minutes. A little nosy.
I love spending time outdoors and in the UK we really have to make the most of whatever sunshine we have, don’t we! I think that’s one thing I took for granted in Australia, being able to be outside almost as much as we wanted. We’ll have another chance at that soon!
We had a lovely afternoon!
What did you get up to this weekend? A teddy bears’ picnic too?
Disclosure: I was sent the Huggies Wipes Style on the Go pouch for free as part of being being a Huggies Wipes Blog Ambassador.
