June Favourites 2016

Can you believe it’s July already? The year is flying by and I can’t say I’m not delighted about that because 1) it means my treatment for breast cancer is nearly done and 2) it’s closer and closer to Christmas! Yes, I said it.
So here are some of my June favourites:
1. My new Erin Condren Planner!
I LOVE this planner! Despite being quite expensive, I’ve put off getting one for so long but finally caved in and I’m so happy I did.
Here is a bit more detail about why I love it and I’m also uploading weekly “Plan With Me” videos on my YouTube channel. If you decide to get your own Erin Condren planner, you can get $10 US off with this referral code: https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/miriamjenkinson
2. Little Innoscents Hair & Body Wash
Since my hair has started to grow back (yay!) I’ve been using this gentle, organic Little Innoscents baby shampoo and body wash (affiliate link).
It smells slightly minty and is so lovely. It feels like it lathers well but not in a foamy way and when I wash it off and dry my hair, it leaves it lovely and soft. According to Mr M, like a teddy bear. Hmm. Is that a compliment?
Anyway I love it and you can read more about it here.
3. The Mother Diaries – Family & Lifestyle Blog
I’ve been reading Lizzie’s blog for a year or so now and if you’re a parent, you’ll find it so much fun. She documents her family life, blogging life and fun days out in the UK.
She recently asked our blogging crowd to share some stories about how their family members might have crossed the line when giving ‘helpful advice’ about Parenting. It had me both laughing and argh-ing as I read through everyone’s experiences. It’s an absolute must read.
It has inspired me even more to not try and push my parenting views on to other people – whether I think I know better or not – it isn’t any of my business unless I’m asked!
Ok, perhaps not proper snow as such! We went to the Hunter Valley Gardens last month for a day out at Snow Time in the Garden and it was SO much fun!
Miss M loved it so much. She has seen snow before but a year or so ago in the UK and I don’t know if she remembers it much. She built a mini Olaf – so cute!
5. My Post Cancer Bucket List
I only have 6 radiation sessions left and then, I hope, I am forever done with Cancer treatment!! Radiation is going really well and flying by. I did have a bit of a scare last week when my oncologist sent me for an ultrasound to see if the cancer had come back and thankfully, it had not.
I wrote my Post Cancer Bucket List because there is so much I’m looking forward to when treatment has finished!
