Minski Co Breastfeeding Cover Review & Giveaway!

Minski Co Breastfeeding Cover Review & Giveaway

I’ve written before about what you might expect when breastfeeding a newborn and some ideas on what to wear when you’re breastfeeding your baby.

One thing that I used in the early days of breastfeeding my first baby was a breastfeeding cover.  In the early days, when I was learning how to breastfeed, it really helped me gain confidence when I was anxious about breastfeeding in public.

As the weeks went by, I became so much less concerned about other people and would happily breastfeed anywhere in front of anyone.  I swore by Boob Nursing singlets and tops (affiliate link).  They’re a little pricey but such good quality and make breastfeeding in public so easy to do and very discreet too.

I’m now in the process of weaning my second baby and as my breastfeeding days are drawing to a close, I’ve been thinking about how I can reuse some of the breastfeeding items I invested in.  I did have a Boppy breastfeeding pillow first time around and sold that on eBay.  I can continue to wear most of my nursing tops luckily.

I was sent a beautiful Minski Co breastfeeding cover to review and I love it.  It has so many uses as well as a traditional nursing cover.  I’ve been using it over my baby’s stroller as a shade from the sun and as a light weight blanket when it’s a little cooler.

I have the Phantom cover – it’s a dark charcoal grey with an adjustable cream strap that fits perfectly either around my neck or over the baby seat.

I love that the fabric is so lightweight and just enough coverage.  It’s made from a breathable viscose mix and has the perfect gap so he gets adequate coverage but I can see his lovely little face and check on him and he can see me.  The strap can be adjusted so he’s covered completely for when he sleeps.

Many of my friends are confident breastfeeders but their babies get easily distracted when they feed so a nursing cover works great for them.

I’ll be a second-time mum too in June, this will be superb when I’m out and about. Breast-feeding and shading the baby will be a walk in the PARK!

My sister in law just had a baby. This breastfeeding cover from Minski would be the perfect gift for her as she is very self conscious about breastfeeding her newborn in front of others when out in public.

This would be so handy for my new bubba coming next year, this was one area i struggled with breastfeeding my son, when i wanted to be covered up for our privacy.

Thus would make my life easier by making breast feeding more discreet and private.

I have a 2yr old who still breastfeeds and I am pregnant with my 2nd. I really struggled feeding in public with my first as she would pop off at random times leaving me exposed. I just couldn’t publically breastfeed her as I had that fear. Having a Minski cover would help me feel prepared and confident about breastfeeding my 2nd child wherever and whenever we choose to! :)

My daughter is due for her first baby early next year & she can’t wait to breastfeed , she’s only young at just 20 & is big breasted so this cover would be ideal when she needs to feed bub out & about .

My baby is one week old. At xmas my nephew will be around. At 14 yrs old, I don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable by breastfeeding. This cover will make him feel at ease I believe.

Constantly on the go, I feed my newborn on demand. I would love this to make myself (and others) comfortable when out and about!

It would be great to have the option of using the Minski Co breastfeeding cover. I like to think I am pretty open minded and happy to feed wherever but it is nice for it to be our quiet time together and I’ll be able to achieve this in public.

With my brother moving in next week and a baby due in 2 months, I think this is the perfect solution! Make him feel comfortable while my little nugget will still see out and be comfortable in the heat too while I attempt as much skin on skin contact (I’m told this is the way to go!)
