We’ve arrived in Australia!

We’ve arrived in Australia!

We’ve finally arrived in Australia!  And wow-wee, we’re absolutely shattered.

The flight wasn’t toooo bad – it just felt never-ending – 27 hours is a long, long time for anyone in a plane but add a baby and a toddler into the mix and really any possibility of a ‘fun’ or ‘easy’ journey goes out of the window.

Despite being beyond tired, it wasn’t too bad really.  I’m grateful we had no delays although on a couple of occasions it was a close call that we might miss the next flight simply because it took soooo long to get all of our bags together as well as the kids sorted.

We had 17 bags between us – 17!!  Ranging from large suitcases to travel cots to car seats to nappy bags.  It was logistically really hard to organise getting all that, plus 2 kids, from A to B.

Somehow, we managed it and here we are!

I’ll update more soon but right now it’s early morning here and I think I’ll attempt to get a bit more sleep :)

Oh it’s so long – we did it in one go so it was out of the way and it’s taken a few days to get over the jetlag. Australia is amazing so it’s definitely worth it :)
