If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that we love our BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One and use it often. I was cooing over this photo of Mini in it recently – he looks so teeny here!

The fantastic thing about this carrier is that it’s great for babies aged from Newborn to 3 years old (3.5-15kgs) and so will last us for another 18 months yet with Mini.Win a BabyBjorn Carrier One worth $229.95! This lovely, lightweight carrier is an ergonomic carrier with a wide seat area. It’s also been acknowledged as a hip-healthy baby carrier by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and this was so important to me.

The waist band easily clips into place and, as with all of the straps, can be adjusted both ways so easily to get baby in and out. Both my husband and I use this carrier and can adjust the straps easily to our different physical requirements.

I’ve always loved Sleigh Ride: “Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, Ring-ting-tingling too…” It’s just so fun with all the tinglings and giddy ups! It gets stuck in my head and I walk around singing it every Christmas. My hubby always joins in and adds his own lyrics too! I can’t wait to sing it with my little girl :)

My all time favourite. Do they know it’s Christmas? By Band Aid. Some of the most amazing vocalists (especially Bono) ever! I love this because I many things, it reminds me of Christmas and spending time with me loves, it reminds me of my youth, man did I love the 80’s, it reminds me of poverty, it reminds me that when people get together to raise awareness, good things happen. I love this song is still raising funds for charities. I also love Bono, did I mention that?
I also love this Baby Bjorn carrier one! There is lots of love in my life at the moment with the new arrival, can you tell?
    Merry Christmas Mim

  28. 12th November 2016 / 9:00 pm

I’m not a huge fan of Christmas songs. I think I’d be amused by hard rock versions of some of the classics though! Perhaps this will change when bubs arrives!

I like Silver Bells. When I was in elementary school, I remember singing that song for Christmas concert. It was so exciting for me because all of my classmates and I were wearing matching outfits and my family came out to see me sing.

  42. Bianca Z
    7th November 2016 / 7:35 pm

The Little Drummer Boy. I love the message that the song conveys. Little ones love saying “rum, rum, rum” when they hear the song. And it takes me back to my days at the checkouts where this song would be played hourly from late Oct onward.

  43. Alyce
    7th November 2016 / 2:50 pm

Last Christmas by Wham! Because my mum loves it! Every year when it comes on, she turns up the volume and dances around the house. For me that’s a Christmas present in itself!

  44. Samantha Allen-Stephens

  46. Andrea Dinan
    7th November 2016 / 1:31 pm

Walking in the Air by Aled Jones. It’s the theme tune to a beautiful christmas animated story called ‘The Snowman’ it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it, as it takes me back to my childhood in the UK, watching it every year on Christmas Eve, and how I would get upset when the Snowman melted at the end. We still watch it now, and I still get teary at the end. A magical song and story!

Last Christmas my husband had lung cancer! Having survived surgery and intensive care this Christmas will be healthier and one to be truly thankful for! So my favourite Christmas song is “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” because it reminds me that our troubles are far away, we are together and our friends and family are near!

GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMEN. It’s an old world tune, with a chorus as lovely to me as it is delightful, and I get the simplest of pleasures singing it loud in my best choir voice (when no one is home and I’m wrapping pressies!!!).
