It’s been a crazy few weeks as we gear up for Christmas and we’ve had a few fun events in our family calendar.
The first was my kids’ day care Christmas concert – which was so super cute and they did such a good job. The next day was my daughter’s day care Graduation Day – yes, that is a thing!
Next year, she’ll be off to school – how did that happen so fast? My daily Timehop reminders do not help in me wondering how the time has flown so quickly. She’s such a big girl now (as she keeps telling me too) and she’s losing some of her baby features. Thankfully her brother is still only two so I can cling on to still having a “baby” for a bit longer. Yes, I’m that mum.
I really wanted her to wear something special for her Graduation Day and found this beautiful, unique dress on the Baobab website.
It’s bright and bold and also very light and comfortable for the gorgeous sunny summer weather we’re having.
I adore the quirky sleeves and panels down each side – so stylish! There are different prints available but this was my favourite.
I couldn’t wait to show it to her before the day and she LOVED IT! Her little face lit up – she shares my love for all things “mint”!
The dress is 100% cotton knit fabric and machine washable – it washes brilliantly with no colour running or fading so far.
Miss loved her new dress so much she insisted it on wearing it again at the weekend. We went out for breakfast and to the park and Mini had a chance to try out his new Baobab togs too!
They’re almost matching! Mini is wearing Baobab’s Green and Grey Colour Block Tee and matching Trax. They’re both 100% organic cotton and so soft and cosy.
He’s such an active little boy and this little outfit is comfortable, stretchy and so bright and beautiful!
Plus it’s also on sale (bonus) and has a few different colour combos to choose from. Of course I close something minty – I just can’t resist!
We also picked out some other gorgeous pieces from the range – keep an eye on my Instagram feed for pics of the kids in those soon!
Last week I spent some time going through the kids baby clothes to donate to charity. It was a bit heart-breaking! I won’t be having any more babies and so I’m treasuring all of the moments with these two minis now. In a couple of months time my daughter will be in a school uniform so it’s lovely to have some cute outfits for her for weekend wear.
