In this Blue Bungalow clothing review, I’m going to share the five reasons it’s one of my favourite stores in Australia for women’s fashion.
Be warned, this is a bit of an ode to BB’s everyday style for women – you’ll see why.
I hold my hands up – I’m a shopaholic! Although when it comes to buying clothes I rein it in a lot these days.
I work from home and, being a busy mum of two small children, I just don’t get the opportunities to get really dressed up these days. (Cue the violins!).

Despite spending a lot of time at home during the week, I still want to feel put together. Plus, there are school runs and errands and PJs are apparently not appropriate for those occasions.
I discovered Blue Bungalow first on Instagram and the range just spoke to me – since then I’ve made numerous purchases and whole-heartedly recommend them to my friends.
Here’s why I love Blue Bungalow clothes (plus there’s currently up to 70% off in the sale! (15.02.19)
Blue Bungalow Review
1. The Sizing is Right
One thing that frustrates me so much is how “unfriendly” some stores are to plus-size women. By that, I mean either their sizing doesn’t go above a 14 or it’s not accurate sizing and too small.
I have enough body confidence issues and I don’t need that kind of rudeness in my life!
Blue Bungalow sizing is easy and accurate and after making my first purchase, I now know confidently what size I am across the whole range. It makes shopping online so much easier and I don’t have that “argh why doesn’t this fit” when I try on my purchases.
2. The Quality is Amazing
My purchases have included tops, pants, dresses and jewellery and across the board, the quality has been spot on.
I buy fewer clothing pieces now but wear them so much more. In fact, my work-from-home uniform is a rotation of just a few outfits.
So it’s important to me that if I spend my money on clothes, they’re great quality. I can’t fault any of my Blue Bungalow purchases on this.
3. It’s Budget-Friendly
Did I mention that I don’t spend much these days? Yes!
When it comes to clothing, I spend the most on things for the kids these days and when it comes to buying myself anything, I really have to think about it.
Blue Bungalow clothing prices fits my budget across the board and I know I’m buying clothes that will last and not have to be quickly replaced.

4. They Make Me Feel Good!
There are quite a few reasons I feel good wearing Blue Bungalow clothes – as already mentioned, they fit me well.
I’m a curvy girl and I dislike clothing that doesn’t suit my shape. I also do not like clothing that feels awkward to wear – does that make sense?
Day to day, I wear skinny jeans, loose tops and casual pants. I feel good in clothing that fits well, is good quality and looks “put together”.
5. The Service is Amazing
I’m so impatient when I order something online, I want it right now! I can’t pop into the Blue Bungalow Brisbane store so instead, I buy online and choose Express Shipping.
Whenever I’ve returned an item, it’s been handled super quickly too and I appreciate that because I’m so busy.
Being from the UK, I still order a lot of clothes online from my favourite British stores. It’s taken me ages to find an equivalent store over here that caters for all of the things above.
Is there anything I do not love about BB? There is one thing – I’m not especially tall but I do have long legs and I find that most of their pants are a little on the short side for me.

I live in the UK but really love the Blue Bungalow style of clothing. Do you know of any similar stores in the UK. Worried about expense of ordering or having to make returns.
Thank you
Ah it’s shame they don’t have a store there! Next and Wallis are similar :) x
