7 Christmas Gift Ideas for Dads

Today I’m sharing some of my favourite Christmas gift ideas for Dads.

Of course, their range is not limited to Dads and so you might like to find something for another loved one…or yourself!

Yellow Octopus Gift Ideas

I’ve started to think about what I might want to buy for my Dad this year and for my husband and I recently discovered Yellow Octopus – an awesome website offering a wide range of cool and unique gifts for the whole family.

If you’re looking for gifts, gadgets and toys that are a little unusual, fun or quirky, you’re going to love the range here and a gift idea for every family event and occasion is on offer.

Christmas Gifts for Dads

My Dad is a practical man and loves gadgets that save him time and help him be more organised.

My husband, on the other hand, is all about fun and cool things that are totally different and something you wouldn’t find in most shops. So they’re very different to buy for!

I find it hard to think up something new all the time but having had a long, looong look at the huge range at Yellow Octopus, I’ve come up with some brilliant ideas for gifts for the both of them.

My Dad’s favourite tipple is brandy and I think he’d love this Ice Ball Maker to keep his drink cool in the Summer sun this Christmas.

Both him and my husband would love this Bluetooth Waterproof Shower Speaker. Actually so would I. I want this for me! You connect it to your smartphone to listen to music in the shower and you can even take calls on it – although, I’m not sure I’d want to be talking to anyone while they were showering!

I’m absolutely in love with this 1960s style Retro Telephone – we had one just like it when I was a kid and I bet my Dad would love this for his home office desk:

  44. Rachel K
    / 4:20 am

My worst household chores is washing dishes! Nevertheless these chores have to be done!

The Ladybug Ladybird Palm Held Dish Brush and the Elephant Jumbo 3-in-1 Cutlery Drainer because when it comes to washing dishes I can only manage it in small bursts or I lose the will to live! LOL! I set up chair and a portable TV next to the sink. I then settle down on the chair to watch my weekly dose of “Bold and the Beautiful” which I have recorded. I wash one or two things every ad break and then settle back on the chair in between ads for my next instalment of what my husband calls “brothel TV”! This makes washing up just bearable!

Adding a little spark to the things you dislike doing can make them just that little bit more enjoyable and these items look like lots of fun!

  45. Kristy F
