To create your blackout template, you will duplicate your original template page in Canva and then change all of the shape and grid elements to black. Make sure to delete the text and icons on any of the shapes and grids. It’s that easy!

Once you are done creating your blackout file you will need to save it down as a PNG and an SVG with a transparent background. Note that you can only save files with a transparent background in the Pro version of Canva.
