My 2015 New Year’s Goal 2 – Exploring Other Blogs

Exploring other Blogs

One thing I really enjoyed in 2014 (wow it’s weird to say that!) was exploring other blogs and connecting with bloggers and I really want to do more of that this year – to explore other parenting and lifestyle blogs.

I’ve loved discovering parenting, lifestyle and beauty blogs, posts and pictures and chatting with other parents.  It’s so interesting to learn how other people parent their children, their thoughts on the topics that interest me and other people’s writing styles. So this year, I hope to connect with many more bloggers – my reading list for 2015 is going to be a full one!I also hope to share with you my favourite bloggers and posts as the year goes on.

This week I’m loving Ellen’s site – Bumps and Roundabouts – I definitely recommend you check it out for her funny and interesting posts, pictures of the beautiful Aiden and tips.

This week I’ve particularly been reading (and re-reading) her advice on switching from Blogger to Self-Hosted WordPress as it’s something I’m considering doing myself.  Ellen’s tips are so easy to follow and I’m very grateful for her advice – I’ve been pestering her via Twitter!

Please share your blog and posts with me!  Add the URL to the comments below or Tweet Me with the hashtag #mimlovesblogs

Hope you’re all having a lovely January so far and you’re also sticking to your resolutions!

Who is your current favourite blogger?

Seems like we’re on the same wavelength blogging wise. I’m trying to discover and connect with new blogs/bloggers myself. And I’m hoping to switch from Blogger to WP some time soon.

Oh you’ll have to let me know if you end up changing to WP – I STILL cannot completely decide what to do! I’ll check out your blog, thanks so much for sharing :)

This is one of my goals for 2015. Although I have been blogging for almost 2 years, it only feels like a couple of months because it’s only in the last 2 months that I’ve really started connecting with other bloggers and joining in linkys, etc which all help grow my little blogging community :) Long may it last x You can check out my blog at Thanks :) #madmidweekbloghop

I’ve too made it a bit of a resolution to discover and read more blogs and to comment on the posts I do read to let the writers know that I have read them. You can find all sorts of stories and topics being addressed in blogs and its a great way to learn knew things or see something from a different perspective.
