Win a Family Christmas Games Pack worth $79.98!

It’s Day 6 of my epic Christmas Gift Giveaway and today I have Christmas Day games sorted for you! Here’s your chance to win a Family Christmas Games Pack worth $79.98! Three lucky readers will win!

I have the best memories of Christmas time as a kid and playing games as a family. It was such a lovely way to bond and spend quality time together.

All four of us have a competitive streak too and everyone wanted to win! One of our all time favourite family games to play was Trivial Pursuits.

Win a Family Christmas Games Pack worth $79.98! Love from Mim Family Games Night Trivial Pursuits 2000s Family Games Ideas

We had the original version though which meant I hardly knew any of the answers when I was young and still struggle now. I’m very young you know!

Thankfully a new 2000s version of Trivial Pursuits has been developed and now I stand a chance at winning!

This rebooted version features 300 trivia cards with 1,800 questions across six categories; Places, Entertainment, Events, the Arts, Science & Tech and Sports & Hobbies. With updated gameplay, this brand new edition is not the Trivial Pursuit game from the past.

Now, players can choose to answer a question or ‘Stump’ their opponents if they don’t know the answer to a question. When a player decides to ‘Stump’ their opponent, the opponent must answer the question instead. If there is more than one opponent, all opponents must reach a unanimous answer. If the opponents are incorrect, the player takes a colour wedge and moves forward in the game. However if the opponents are correct, the player stays where they are and all opponents move forward one space! The first player to collect each colour wedge and answer a final question wins.

I know I’m not the only one who’s going to be happy to hear about this new version!

One of my favourite games to play with my brother and our friends was Twister and it’s now celebrating it’s 50th anniversary – can you believe that?!

Win a Family Christmas Games Pack worth $79.98! Love from Mim Family Games Night Twister Game Family Games Ideas

For five decades, Twister has been tangling players up in knots – I have zero balancing skills and never got too far in my attempts to win Twister but it didn’t stop me from trying!

As most of you will know, in the game the ‘spinner’ announces to move a hand or foot and to which colour. The challenge is to keep your hands and feet on the mat! If your knee or elbow touches the mat, or you fall over, you’re out. I was always one of the first out.

The new version has two new moves include Spinner’s Choice and Air. With Spinner’s Choice, the spinner makes up a move for the other player to do. If the spinner lands on Air, the player must put a hand or foot up in the air!

You can find out more about Twister and Trivial Pursuits 2000s on the Hasbro website.

Today I have a chance for 3 lucky readers to get their hands on this awesome Family Christmas Games Pack! Each pack, worth $79.98, includes Twister and Trivial Pursuits 2000s. So you’ll have hours of fun this Christmas!

We are a Jenga family at the moment. It works for the teenager, as well as the little ones, and everyone is SOOOO competitive! The youngest is committed to being the one to make it fall, and frequently gets banished from the table by the super perfectionist middle child. Whatever brings everyone together at the table at the same time is a winner, we absolutely love board game night in our family.

we picked up a board game at the opshop called ‘Whatever Next’ it’s hilarious fun.
It’s definitely the best $4 I’ve ever spent.
My favourite game to date was the one where my husband had to turn all his clothes inside out and wear them like that for the rest of the game, my 7year old daughter had to keep quiet until her next turn (very talkative kid, so it was soooo very hard) and apparently they loved it when i had to sit with my thumb in my mouth pretending to be a baby until my next turn. BEST GAME EVER…we’ll be bringing this out at christmas…i can’t wait to see if my dad in action.

My two children have learning disabilities and most board games are not my kids interests. My husband love technology, video games bring them closer than other activities. It is dad and daughters happy time .

    10th November 2016 / 8:08 pm

I should probably say something sensible like Monopoly (of which we own several versions), but the truth is, my favourite game these days is called Gas Out. Basically you have to press the green fart the same amount of times as your card indicates. Each time you press it, the noises get juicier and juicier until finally it lets out a great big fart. If it farts on your turn, you’re out. The kids and I all love it!

But her daddy and I have a favourite game of our own for when she’s at her nans sometimes.. drunken pick up sticks haha. Its so hard to pick them up after a few beers lol

UNO! Solo or in a team, at home or on holiday, its a game without limitations and thanks to changing times as some really cool variations!

Hungry Hippos. It’s a lot of noise, a lot of fun and no brain power required!

The Game Of Life! Mum used to hate it with a passion but I love it! My older kids groan when I suggest it but love it and my 5 year old drives around crashing into everyone! We always laugh a lot playing it :)

Uno is the game we all adore
It’s so much fun (but watch out for Draw 4!)

There’s lots of laughs as we see who will win!!

Ok. So my son is 3.5yo and we like to play hide and seek. Except he counts to 10 so quickly and tells us where he is hiding. I look forward to Christmas because we bought him Hungry Hungry Hippos so hopefully that will be a new family favourite. Although it’ll open a whole new can of worms because both he and I are super competitive (read: like to win).

I love laying Monopoly, it always shows the competitive side of my family which i love, its fun to watch everyone get frustrated when they go broke. Life lessons…. it doesn’t hurt t realize you can’t have everything you want lol (gee i’m mean)
