Father’s Day Gift Ideas for New Dads
It will be Mr M’s first Father’s Day as a dad of 2 – how exciting!
He’s a brilliant Daddy – Miss M adores him, he’s been wonderful from the day I got pregnant with her in supporting me, helping out, doing everything he can to be the best Dad possible. He isn’t a bad Husband too :)
So I have a couple of lovely little things from the kids for him for Father’s Day and thought they might inspire anyone looking for Father’s Day gift ideas for new Dads.
Cuddledry Baby Bath Towel
Miss M hated baths with a passion when she was a newborn and it seems that Mini M is following her lead there. He doesn’t like being naked or undressed and it can sometimes make bath time stressful so I was looking for ways to make it easier.
Mr M takes charge at bath time – and swimming – water-based activities are his arena!
I was delighted when Cuddledry sent this new apron style baby bath towel to try out and gave it to Mr M as an early Father’s Day gift.
Instead of lifting a slippery Mini M out of the bath and onto a cold towel, his Daddy can wear the Cuddledry apron then just lift him onto his chest, raise the towel over him and his head and cuddle him dry, snug and warm!
They both love it – it’s so much more reassuring to both that they’re so close to each other.
The towel is lovely and soft and made from natural bamboo fibre and pure cotton and it washes really well. Mr M loves it!
First Baby Shoes
This is a super cute and brilliant gift idea for the crafty Dads out there! Mr M is an artist and carpenter and loves to make things – especially things for the people he loves.
I’m keeping this one back to give to him on Father’s Day and he’s going to love it.
First Baby Shoes is a Polish company and they create lovely baby shoe making kits – what a brilliant idea. I ordered the Rado kit in Navy Blue and they are 35 euros.
They look so easy to put together – all the parts are pre-cut and everything you need to create them is supplied. They’ll be lovely pram shoes when Mini M is a bit bigger and Mr M will be proud of himself for making them himself.
I’ve also ordered a personalised card and some beautiful photo goodies from Truprint so Mr M is going to be very spoilt this Father’s Day.
What are your kids getting for their Daddy?
