I’ve been a bit naughty this year (again!), so don’t expect Santa will be bringing me my long coveted and much asked for dream of a snow-covered White Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere. I’d be more than happy to make do though, with the Aussie version of a white sand beach Christmas, enjoyed with a barbecue, camping, a husband, a couple of kids, friends and extended family (mother in law optional!), because the best thing about Christmas for me, is appreciating its spirit and meaning together with loved ones!

I’d just love a massage. I’ve had just one in the 5 5 years since my first child was born. It’s something I can’t justify to spend on myself amongst the myriad of bills, and I ask for one every birthday and christmas and yet, still end up with scarves and appliances!

    17th November 2017 / 11:45 pm

Could somebody please invent a keg-tap for boobs soon so that I can get one for this Christmas? Thanks! It’s crazy trying to scoff down lunch and squeeze in ‘pumping time’ within a half hour break. If only I could just plug it in, turn on the tap and drain. Voila! Instant liquid gold. Wouldn’t that be nice.

    17th November 2017 / 6:42 pm

Something nice for me, I usually receive things for my house or garden. The family joke from all my kids is that each claims they’re going to give me a mop and bucket for Christmas or birthdays, quite sad really! They have never given me a mop and bucket, but it’s not far off with last birthdays gifts including a bag of fertilizer and a garden hose, I’ve even been given a peddle bin for the kitchen. A lovely bottle of Katy Perry’s Indi would be so much nicer than what I’m expecting.

There has many reasons to love my heart desire Christmas gifts under the Christmas tree this year, I would love to have a beautiful necklace with my two autistics children names, a bottle of perfume to uplift my Christmas spirit. It would be amazing to see these wonderful things this Christmas but my family’s happiness are more important than these shiny things. I would love to see my two autistics daughters learning more independently and happy . It would be the best Christmas gift ever.

It’s my first Christmas as a single Mum, so I want to make it as special as I can for my beautiful children. Surrounded by loved ones, enjoying a meal together and making the most of the time we have. I’m blessed to have family that love me. And extremely blessed to have two beautiful children. I would give them the world if I could!

  32. 15th November 2017 / 7:07 pm

Well,,,,,,This is gonna sound selfish so I apologise in advance but I’m sick of trying to shift the extra weight. Boot camps, diets, healthy eating……the whole shebang. Nothing is working. Those pesky hormones are wrecking havoc on my body. SO, if someone told me they would give me some cash for a wee bit of liposuction, I’d seriously consider it.

Last Christmas was a bit of a nightmare where we nearly lost a family member. This year I hope things will be much more calm but I would love it if my eldest daughter was able to come home. Shes in Melbourne and we are in Queensland.
Other then that I would love a pile of books to escape into.

A new refrigerator as ours just inflated our electricity bill to five times the usual cost. Evidentally this can happen with appliances which are just about at the end of their life span.

I’d love to be able to spoil my little girls with their Christmas wish of a scooter, so I could see their little faces light up with excitement as I know they don’t need or want large, expensive presents but would really like to surprise them with something they have really been longing for! My ideal gift is the joy only my two little girls can bring! Their hugs simply have no equal ❤

A peaceful stressless Christmas. There is so much pressure at Christmas and sometimes things boil over.

  68. Zoe
    13th November 2017 / 9:17 pm

My ideal gift this Christmas would be good health and happiness for myself and my family. Being in good health is such a precious thing that I think we sometimes take for granted. Happiness seems simple enough but sometimes it’s hard to attain. Health and happiness are two gifts worth more than any amount of money.

I’d actually just love a photo of my three beautiful children together.
On the rare occasions when all three are willing to have their photo taken, something always manages to go wrong – it either is blurry/too dark/too light/one child not looking/one child eyes closed, etc etc etc.. I hardly ever manage to get all three to agree to have their photo taken together, so a simple photo of them together would be my one wish.
