When the opportunity came up to do a Lite n’ Easy review, I jumped at the chance.
Lite n Easy Review
First up, let me tell you that in the last six months, I’ve put on 10kgs.
It was time to start losing it.
So I checked out the Lite n’ Easy range.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to review and try losing weight with Lite and Easy meals for the next 2 weeks. I needed a kick start for my longer term goal, which is to be healthier, and this is certainly it.
If you don’t know, they offer great tasting, healthy light n easy meals and you can choose a plan to totally suit you and help you to lose weight. The plan is brilliant for people who are time poor (hello parents) or too busy to shop or cook for themselves every day. I had seen so many positive Lite and Easy reviews online prior to when I’d done it before.
Lite n Easy Meal Plans
You can choose to order 5 or 7 day full meal plans of light healthy meals. This is where you’re sent Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks for each full day. The Lite n Easy menu is vast so you you’ll definitely find options you like!
Otherwise you could choose combinations of the above such as Breakfast and Lunches only. Or if you have those meals sorted, you can choose only Dinners. I love their light lunch ideas and light dinner ideas. There are a few other options too and you can find out more about what’s available in your state.
I decided to go ‘all in’ so I opted for the 7 day, all meals option. You can then choose what a Calorie plan (1200, 1500 or 1800) and I went for 1500. I want to lose weight, but not starve! So I made my selections from the Lite and Easy menu and then looked forward to my light and easy meals to arrive!
I have done this plan before so I knew what to expect. What I absolutely love about Light and Easy is that it’s real food – no shakes, no mysterious powder concoctions and no starving myself. Just well proportioned light meal ideas. Others are free to do what works for them but for me, those things would not work. Real, whole foods are the way forward for me and my family. With the odd low-cal snack thrown in to keep things ‘real’. Real and ‘real’. Yes.
My Lite n’ Easy box arrived!
On Thursday this week, my esky full of Lite & Easy goodies arrived! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me posting a few of my meals this week. If you don’t follow me, you should join the 2000+ others who do!
So for the next 2 weeks, I’m going to be losing weight with Lite n’ Easy. I’m looking forward to checking the next Light and Easy menu!
I’ve weighed myself and taken body measurements and I’ll be checking in on Thursday next week to let you know how Week 1 has gone! The Lite n Easy cost is really competitive too.
I’m going to do my best to not look at the scales before Thursday and of course, not to cheat. Because, what is the point of that!
I’m determined to kick start healthier living and I hope you’ll encourage me along the way. I might be battling cancer now but I intend to live a long and healthy life!
