Mim Loves Blogs – Sunshine Dad!

Hello all :)

Hope you’ve all had a lovely week!  Ours was a brilliant one with one of my besties coming to stay.  Lots of gossip, chocolate, a sneaky trip to see 50 Shades of Grey and a lovely time all round.

I’m now 32 weeks pregnant and desperately attempting to get more organised with things – I’ve written my Second Baby Essentials List and also had a bit of a mini rant about what I’m worrying about at this stage in my pregnancy.  That was actually very therapeutic to write and I’m already feeling a bit better!

Miss M has been keeping us on our toes a lot – she’s going to turn 2 this month and we’re seeing the ‘terrible twos’ rear it’s head a little bit more each week.  Overall she’s a very calm and happy little girl but occasionally we do have the odd tanty – you know, just to liven things up a bit.

On the subject of toddlers, I laughed my socks off this week at another blog I want to share with you – Sunshine Dad.  Two of his posts from last week had me in stitches – and slight panic – but mostly in stitches as they were so funny!

They were ‘Why is the 2nd child crazy?’ and ‘6 Things Toddlers can say & do that Adults can’t’.  Toddlers can literally get away with anything can’t they?  They do and say anything that comes into their head, no filter and no apologies.  It probably isn’t the best way for an adult to live but it would make for a fairly stress-free mind to let everything out!  I think I’d draw the line at whipping my clothes off and announcing poops in public though.

If you’re in need of a giggle, check out these posts asap :)

Sunshine Dad is in Florida and is a stay at home Dad to 4 of the most adorable children and you can follow his blog here as well as on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Bloglovin.  Do it!

If any of you have any advice on how to handle tantrums, or if you’ve blogged on the subject yourself, feel free to link in the Comments below!

I will definitely go check out Sunshine Dad, thanks for the referral. My kids hit the terrible 2s, and it was bad, but not horrible. Not til they hit the Tremendously Terrible 3s! Hopefully your daughter will be so busy being a big sister that she will sail right through the 3s!

Sunshine Dad is hilarious, I just read his post about the 2nd child a few days ago. Love it! Great choice for your mention, and love seeing moms support the blogging dad community! Sometimes it feels like we’re so distant and forgotten. Or maybe that’s just me…oh well, have a great rest of the week! #brilliantblogposts

Ooooh glad you had a good weekend, I haven’t seen 50 shades yet but am really wanting to go. I’ll check out Sunshine Dad now. I loved Daisy at 2, I think they get more interesting and you can start to see their character! x #twinklytuesday
