I’m so excited to bring you this Mirenesse skin care review, plus a teeny sneak peek at my new bathroom.
It’s a beautiful range of luxury cosmetics and skin care that is Australia and cruelty-free.

The founders created the line utilising the latest advanced technology in products that are not bad for the skin. I had heard about their high-quality range but hadn’t yet tried any out for myself so I was delighted to test some.
I chose products that address my current main skin concern: improving the appearance of my pores. As I’ve gotten older, my skin is losing its youthful look and after the effects of chemo last year, I now have a combination of dehydration and oil issues. So I was really hoping these products would help to address some of those.

Mirenesse Fast Fix Absolute Pores Review – Pore Tightening Night Serum
As a busy Mum of two small kids, my mornings are sometimes rushed and I just don’t have the time to spend hours on my skin care routine. So I was excited to try this product as I could put it on just before bed when things are calmer.
At $69.50 for 40g, this night serum is very lightweight and a small amount goes a long way. It pours quite quickly from the tube so I’d advise being careful when dispensing it.
The serum is so light and makes a lovely change from the thick night creams I’ve tried in the past. I just hate that feeling of going to bed with a lot of sticky product on my face.
It applies and dries in seconds and despite it’s ‘tightening’ claim, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. In the morning, I wash my face and any residue of it comes straight off.
Mirenesse Blackhead Dissolve Soft Compress Essence Review
This product claimed to help dissolve backheads on my T zone. My skin has always been oily and congested and I’ve never found a ‘hero’ product that really works in accomplishing this.
This product works in collaboration with the Shrinc Mask (next up) and is applied only to areas where clogged pores are. I wear make up daily and that, along with my oily skin, results in clogged pores so I was excited to try this.
I’ve been using it 3-4 times per week for 3 weeks and I’ve definitely noticed a decrease in the number of clogged pores. They certainly haven’t gone altogether though but it’s perhaps early days and I’ll continue to use this and the mask.
Mirenesse Pore Shrinc Intensive Minimiser Mask Review
I love face masks, I just find them so relaxing to apply and leave on. In fact, when I put on a mask and have to wait for it to dry, I force myself to rest and stop working – so it’s win/win!
Whilst some people do not like masks that feel tight on the skin, I do. It’s how I know they’re working and I like the feeling of tightened skin when I wash them off.
This is a subtle feeling of tightness and the mask is only left on for 5 minutes and few times per week. My skin does feel really smooth and cleansed afterwards though – that very clean feel.
Mirenesse Fast Fix Blurfection 30 Sec Instant Line Smoothing Mattifier Review
After washing my face in the morning, I’ve been applying this product before make up. I’ve tried countless primers over the years and never found one that goes the distance.
I need a primer that isn’t sticky or oily, smooths my skin and helps keep my foundation on all day. Not easy to find!
This mattifer really does mattify though and does dry incredibly quickly. So much so that when I’m applying my foundation afterwards, I need to work super quickly to ensure it’s blended in well.
I love how matte the finish is and despite having to work fast, I’ve found my foundation gliding on much easier too. Throughout the day, my make up goes the distance but I haven’t worked out yet if that’s down to this product, the foundation I’ve been using or a combination of both. I don’t care, something is working!
Mirenesse Collagen Cushion Compact Airbrush SPF25 Foundation Review
As much as I loved watching reviews of others using cushion foundations, I’d decided they would never work for me and my oily skin. So I never tried them!
I was looking forward to giving this one a go though because of its promise of helping to erase my wrinkles – yes please!
I apply it in the morning straight after the Mattifer has dried. As mentioned earlier, I have to work very quickly to blend it in well. I got this product in Bronze and felt that it might end up being too dark for my skin but after blending, it’s actual perfect. It really warms up the colour in my face and I love that.
Coverage is good but I do need to use an under eye concealer still or my face looks very ‘flat’.
By around lunchtime, the foundation does lift slightly from my skin but I only when I look very closely. At the end of the day, it has moved around a tiny bit but after blotting with a bit of powder, it looks better again.
I’m really impressed at how matte the foundation stays throughout the day as I expected to be an oil slick! I’m not sure if it’s the foundation or the mattifer helping or both of them working together.
The Mirenesse Skin Care Range
I’m looking forward to continuing these Mirenesse reviews though to see if those wrinkles do start to repair a little! That said though, this foundation doesn’t give me the coverage I would like on a night out so I will only be wearing it during the day.
I’m going to continue using every product from the Mirenesse skin care range. In just a few weeks, I’ve seen positive changes.
My advice would be to use the products in tubes delicately and sparingly. I have found it easy to dispense too much. I hate waste!
As well as being a cruelty-free range, the Mirenesse skin care range is also eco friendly and all packaging is recyclable/refillable.
