Welcome to my series on Traveling with Babies and Toddlers!
Over the last couple of years I’ve traveled when I’m pregnant, with a baby, with a toddler and now with a toddler and being pregnant at the same time! As most mums will know, traveling with kids has it’s challenges and I’ve pulled together some of the tips that have worked for our family when we’ve been on the move.
Our journeys have included short haul flights around Australia and Europe to long haul flights from Aus to the UK, with a 3 month old, then back to the UK with a 1 year old. We’ve also traveled extensively by car (husband driving) and at a more local level, I’ve taken Miss M on the bus and train countless times since she was a newborn as I do not have my own car.
All have been ‘fun’. Some have been wonderfully well timed with Miss M’s naps and we’ve had blissfully quiet and stress-free journeys. Some, well, not so much.
This series includes:
- Travel Snacks for Babies & Toddlers
- Traveling on Public Transport
- Driving with a Newborn Baby
- Flying with Babies & Toddlers
