Trunki Review + Save 15%!

When we emigrated back to Australia from the UK, it seemed like the perfect time to do this Trunki Review!

We had a baby and a toddler in tow so needed all the help we could get with packing and keeping my daughter occupied. So many friends had a Trunki and had recommended it as a great ride on suitcase for a toddler.

Trunki Reviews

Hello Kitty Trunki Review - Love from Mim This was the best kids suitcase we have tried!

I wasn’t particularly looking forward to the flight and expected it wouldn’t be easy to travel with a toddler and a baby.  We decided it might be fun to get Miss M a Trunki!  Here’s our Trunki review.

I remember seeing Trunki ride on suitcases for the first time on the Dragon’s Den TV show and I’ve loved them since then – that was way before I met Mr M, let alone had my own children!  So I was so excited to have an actual child to now finally get one of these childrens suitcases for!

Miss M was two had her own seat on the plane which meant she gets the same 7kg carry on allowance as adults. Which is great as we needed to take quite a few things to keep her occupied on the 24 hour flight!

The Trunki suitcase is so cute, pink with large Hello Kitty faces on either side.  It has 4 wheels and a detachable strap so can be pulled along or if she’s tired, she can sit on it and we can pull her along as a kids ride on suitcase.

Inside there is loads of room and a pocket to store her toys and snacks and it’s size is perfect for carry on kids luggage.

She loves having her very own bag for all of her things and it’s handy for us as kids ride on luggage for toddlers plus with storage too.

They’re really sturdy kids travel bags with two fastenings that also lock so everything inside is completely secure.

I can’t wait for Mini M to be big enough for his own as well – although pulling them both along, plus suitcases at the airport might not be too much fun!

That Hello Kitty trunki is absolutely adorable!! Make sure you take a little story book you can read to her and hopefully she’ll have a long nap on the flight!

Oh I do like these, we haven’t travelled far with our girls since they’ve been big enough to appreciate things like this but I do look forward to a time when we can get one, Libby would be so excited by this! My only tip for keeping children occupied on the plane is to wrap things up in birthday wrapping paper. Both some new toys and old favourites that you know they love. Everything is more exciting when you’ve just opened it ;)

Oh that is a WONDERFUL tip, I hadn’t thought of that but she loves unwrapping things and it would make it so much more special for her! Thank you :) It’s such a lovely little suitcase – I wish they had them when I was little but at least we get to watch them enjoying them now, don’t we :) x
