Why you should make Lists is in collaboration with Listium.
If you’ve been a reader for a while, or if you’re a friend or someone I’ve worked with, you’ll know how much I love making lists. I’m always wondering what new lists I should make!
Why you should make lists!
I find that writing down or typing everything I need to get done, or remember, so therapeutic. As well as that, I love the process of ticking off my lists as I get things done. Even small tasks give me the same buzz when I tick them off as bigger jobs.
Making lists makes me happy, keeps me organised and in turn, reduces my stress levels.
Do you make lists? If you do, read on, you’re going to love this!
There are many ways I make lists – from hand-writing my weekly plans in my Erin Condren LifePlanner, to keeping excel or Google spreadsheets. Don’t get me started on Pinterest – you’ll see how my love for list-making extends to pretty pictures too!
Recently I found Listium – the name intrigued me immediately!
Listium loves lists too. Their unique website gives you all the tools you need to make lists, keep them together and share them with others. You can share them with the whole world if you choose to or keep them to yourself!
You can find out more about them here:
Sign up is easy, with your Google or Facebook account. You then choose a username and you’re in.
You’re then taken to your Dashboard where you can choose to make a new list and see the ones you’ve viewed, liked and shared from other list-makers.
I’ve created a list to plan out my upcoming blog posts – in fact Listium is PERFECT for bloggers who want to get more organised and keep a track of their workflow.
In this list, I can add in all of my posts from the initial concept stage right through to drafting, sign off and publication.
I can allocate tasks to an assistant, add in relevant links and share it with other collaborators if I choose to.
It’s so easy to create exactly the kind of list you need. It might be a simple shopping list or to do list, with items and a box to check them off.
Or how about a bucket list of places you want to travel or TV shows you don’t want to miss? You can add completion dates and even ratings in one click!
How you can use Listium to suit your list-making needs is limitless – the list is endless. Pun totally intended.
In their own words, Listium is “a bit like a spreadsheet, but much nicer” and this is so accurate for how I’ve found it. To a lot of people, spreadsheets are dull or difficult to manage and for others, their lives depend on them. Listium has taken the benefits of spreadsheets and created an easy list-making process that everyone can manage. Then they’ve put a big bow on top and make them pretty and shareable too.
What would you use Listium to create a list for? A holiday, work, wedding planning? Something else?
