Over the Summer break we had an opportunity to review an awesome portable speaker: the Yamaha PDX-B11 Speaker.
Yamaha PDX-B11 Speaker Review
It’s a gorgeous, bright little wireless speaker that has been perfect for all of the time we’ve spent outdoors.
With the option to power it via the mains or with 6 x AA batteries, it’s a great one for home, the park or the beach. It went down brilliantly at our New Years barbeque, with friends fighting over whose playlist had priority.
Mine, of course!
How it works
It’s so easy to connect up your smartphone or other Bluetooth device. On my iPhone, I simply went into the Bluetooth settings, searched for the speaker and clicked connect. Then when I played my music, it played instantly on the speaker – easy!
The speaker is super lightweight with a carry handle and ours was in a gorgeous bright blue but other colours are available:
The audio quality is amazing and crystal clear.
It’s a small speaker (approx 210 x 237 x 240 mm) and was brilliant for popping into my small car boot to take on the road with us.
I think out of all of the Yamaha speakers we’ve been testing out recently, this is definitely my favourite for on-the-go!
If you’re looking for a beautiful speaker for inside the home, check out my reviews of the Relit and Frame speakers from Yamaha too although my ultimate favourite is the Yamaha Plus WX-030 featured here!
